The familiarity bias is when people are influenced by what they know and feel comfortable with.  We leveraged this by creating a consistent look for Housing Units’ Spring and Autumn sale campaigns that could be replicated each time.

CREATIVITY INFORMED BY BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCE

The Spring and Autumn Sale periods are defined by five interior trends. These are developed collaboratively with Housing Units’ interior design team.

All five trends are photographed on location, so customers can see how they might bring them into their own homes. The trends are then promoted throughout the store, as well as on TV, social media, direct mail and online.

The prominence, familiarity and inspiration that the trends create ensure lots of excitement around the seasonal Sale events.
