From a bike-thru coffee stop to jet ski-fuelled packaging and 157 years of ketchup loyalty.

This weeks most memorable.

01 — Activation

Oatly have opened the world's first bike-thru in Amsterdam. You pedal in, place your order, and get oat. Turning the Netherlands' cycling obsession into a fast-drink restaurant is the kind of obvious-in-hindsight thinking we love.

02 — Design

Designer Jacob Hutch has turned his Lake District walks into a series of digital stamps, each pinned with the exact coordinates of the spot it depicts. Part design project, part love letter to the fells. We'd frame every one of them.

03 — Campaign

Chips in the office aren't chips without Heinz, in fact most meals aren't, if we're being honest. So their new campaign celebrating '157 Years of Being Food's Best Friend' complete with the return of the glass bottle gets a proper nod from us.

04 — Book

A new book cataloguing post-war British graphic design, when designers genuinely believed their work could help rebuild society. Simple typography, dynamic grids, and an underappreciated sense of wit. One for the shelf, not the coffee table. Available from Manchesters finest the Modernist.

05 — Brand

Hyper Blast a new caffeinated and malt-flavored beverage out of New York, takes us on a retro blast to the glory days of jet ski culture. Loud colours, vintage energy, and packaging that looks like it should come with a pair of Oakleys. Full commitment to the vibe and we're here for it.
