From a dog's-eye rebrand to 1,000 free pints and a sofa in a giant toy box.
This weeks most memorable.
01 — Brand
Dogs Trust have refreshed their look and it's lovely. Bolder logo, warmer colours named after the dogs themselves (Blonde, Biscuit, Red Setter), and Homer the dog now front and centre as a proper mascot. A rebrand that genuinely feels like the thing it's selling. Hard not to smile at.
02 — Campaign
Scotland are back at a World Cup after nearly 30 years, and Tennent's have bottled exactly what that feels like. A Glasgow pub, a rolling wave of heartbreak and hope, and the line "we are not ready to wake up yet." Here's the other half of these isles dreaming just as hard as the Three Lions.
03 — OOH
Argos have wrapped a real Habitat sofa and a Smeg fridge in giant toy packaging, hang tabs and all, complete with warnings like "Aged 25+" and "Milk not included." A clever nudge that they sell more than toys, built big and built for real rather than mocked up in a poster. Simple, funny, properly executed.
04 — Place
Pigeon Beer Wanderer, new specialist beer parlour has just opened behind Piccadilly, joining the likes of Cloudwater and Track on Manchester's already stacked beer scene. Rotating taps, serious brewing and a welcome that's as much for the curious as the obsessive. They're giving away 1,000 free pints across the opening weekend, so you know where we'll be!
05 — Packaging
Schweppes have leaned into their heritage with a redesign that brings back Clive the Leopard and a good dose of old-school sparkle. For a brand that essentially invented the category, it's a smart reminder of where it all started. Proof that looking back can be exactly the right way forward.
