From a cult that pays out in oats, to a Pringles can you can be buried in.
This weeks most memorable.
01 — Campaign
Overnight oats are about the most forgettable thing in the fridge at home. But Oat Cult’s tiramisu launch might just have changed my mind. Set in 16th-century Italy it’s a black-and-white tale of a cult that asks for everything and pays out in oats.
02 — Book
Part photobook and part permission slip to slip. Nobody’s perfect, well my gran might argue that, but Erik Kessels’s Failed It! is a lovely guide to embracing our imperfections and using them to spark new ideas. Grab your copy here.
03 — Brand
Most of us can’t wait to leave work behind. Not the man who invented the Pringles can. He asked to be buried in one and his family happily honoured that. Now Pringles is giving one lucky (US) fan the next best thing: a can-shaped urn and 200 years’ worth of crisps.
04 — Event
Calling all running folk! To mark Salomon’s new Liverpool store, Unsanctioned Athletics are putting on a race on Thursday 5 November that tests your head as much as your legs. It’s in pairs, and the challenge isn’t revealed until 20 minutes before the start. One for the creative minds. Link to run here.
05 — Packaging
Pocket Parm. Now that’s something I can get behind. Kraft has taken its kitchen classic and shrunk it into a pocket-sized, on-the-go shaker. The kind of thing you never knew you needed in your life until until now.
