Moving to Employee Ownership
We have some incredibly exciting news to share about the future of The Behaviours Agency!
As we approach our 20-year milestone, we’re thrilled to announce a significant change - we have officially transitioned to 100% Employee Ownership via an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT).
This move isn't just a change in structure, it's a lasting commitment to putting our people at the centre of our success.
A shared stake in success
Our brilliant founders Sue Benson and Dorina D’Ambrosio have transferred 100 percent of their shares to a newly formed EOT. This means that every team member with more than 12 months’ service will now be eligible for a share of the profits, alongside potential tax-free bonuses.
As a certified B Corp business, this transition perfectly aligns with our values, strengthening our commitment to building a purpose-driven, equitable, and sustainable business for the long haul.
CEO Sue Benson has this to say:
“Our success is very much down to our fantastic team, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built together over the last 20 years and becoming employee-owned creates a lasting legacy that reflects our B Corp values and gives our people a real stake in our collective achievements.”
Future-proofing our independence
We’ve had a fantastic, successful year with exciting new client partnerships, including Yankee Candle, AO.com, Music Magpie, Charles Worthington, and the Co-op. The decision to move to an EOT is all about building on those achievements while securing our future as the thriving, independent agency you know and love.
What does it mean day-to-day?
While the ownership structure has changed for the better, leadership and day-to-day operations remain the same. Sue will continue as CEO and Dorina as Executive Creative Director, guiding the strategic direction and creative output that our clients have come to rely on.
Our focus remains laser-sharp, delivering strategic brand planning and standout creative work across key sectors like retail, home, lifestyle, and automotive. We plan to build on this transition with new initiatives focused on professional development and creative excellence, all powered by an engaged, and now truly owner-led team.
We’re incredibly excited about this new chapter and look forward to continuing to deliver impactful, behaviour-changing work with a team that has a true stake in every single success.
Here's to the next 20 years, together!
