About Us

In 2006, Sue and Dorina left big-agency-land and set out to build their own creative agency with curiosity and creativity at the heart of everything. Their three foundations were:

Turn insight into buying behaviour

An abundance of creative thinking

Happy, thriving client-agency partnerships

Creative built around
understanding buyer behaviour

You can have full confidence in our creative output – it’s built on uniquely solid foundations of insight and behavioural science.

We’ve always preferred to get as close to consumer behaviour as possible, to truly understand the categories and brands we work on. So we throw ourselves wholeheartedly into the world of our client’s customer. We dig deep into what motivates potential buyers, and what holds them back.

From retail safaris to eye-tracking studies to semiotics, we love fresh insight, because we know it produces the most resonant and effective creative work.

Creative Thinking

An abundance of
creative thinking

We recruit for curiosity and creative thinking, because we want our team to bring fresh thinking to everything they do.

For clients this doesn’t only mean our creative work feels fresh and original. It means we keep them on top of the latest trends in their category and beyond, and consistently challenge them to push beyond the ‘way things are done around here’.

And behavioural science is infused through all our creative output. We’ve built our insight, strategy and creative methods around applying the rigorous evidence of what works to influence behaviour. Our approach is the perfect blend of behavioural science (motivation & ease) with branding (top of mind), ensuring our creative solutions really are optimised.

The happiest little
agency in the world

Our commitment puts us at the forefront of the well-being momentum in our industry.

We want our people to love coming to work. To create amazing things for clients they gel with, on projects we love. And because happier folk make better work, it’s great news for our clients and our creativity.

We take this stuff seriously. We try to work with clients who share our values, and appreciate our commitment to their businesses and their commercial priorities. We ask all clients to regularly take part in our NPS tracking and for feedback on how we could work better together. When stuff happens we fix it, when great things happen we celebrate it.

Happy clients
The TBA philosophy

We want our clients to feel an overwhelming sense of enjoyment from working with us, being able to work collaboratively to meet their targets, connecting amicably with their agency team, and knowing that their work matters to us as much as them.

What can we help you with?

Meet the people behind it all

Sue & Dorina grew up in retail and so there’s commercial acumen that runs throughout the business. We also focus on what our client’s needs, matching our teams to your business. Whether that’s someone to stand by your side at your next c-suite session or a friendly face to work alongside your junior teams.

To support this approach we’re committed to growing a super talented team. We’re proud of both our IPA CPD Gold and Investors In People Gold accreditations we’ve gained over the years.
